DF-61 is a new Chinese intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) publicly unveiled at the September 3, 2025, Victory Day Parade in Beijing, signaling a modernization of the PLA Rocket Force's nuclear arsenal. It is a three-stage, road-mobile (or silo-based) system designed for strategic deterrence with an estimated range of 12,000–15,000 km, capable of reaching the US mainland.
