The Dana self-propelled gun was developed by the Czechoslovak military in 1970 and uses the Soviet 2C3 (M1973) 152mm self-propelled howitzer body and chassis on a Taitara 815 (8x8) truck chassis , officially commissioned in 1981. A total of 750 units were produced by 1994. The driver and commander sit in front of the cab. The turret consisted of two parts, the main gun was in the middle and controlled by a cable, which could be rotated 225 degrees to both sides. The gun has an automatic reloading system. The optical sight in the small turret is located in the upper left viewing window. The gunner was on the left, the loader was on the right, and the whole vehicle carried 60 rounds. Dana self-propelled guns are in service with Poland, the Czech Republic, Liberia, Poland, Russia and Slovakia, among other countries.
