Description
The Sd.Anh.116 is based mainly on an officially issued Dienstvorschrift.In the front of chassis unit, the frame was later extended to cover the running gear. The side lamps received a protective guard and for use as a railway ramp four small hooks were welded on the head crossbeam for mounting loading ramps. The locking mechanism of theyoke crossbeam was reworked. on therear chassis unit, the single towing hook in themiddle was replaced by two hooks mounted on the sides of the chassis. Two further hooks were addition ally bolted on therear side of this chassis unit and the two locking pintles for theyoke crossbeam were dropped in favour of a hinged arm.
