The Eurocopter SA365/AS365Dauphin 2 is a medium-weight multipurpose twin-engine helicopter originallymanufactured by Aerospatiale,later by Eurocopter (now AirbusHelicopters). Several major variation s of the Dauphin have beendeveloped and entered production, including themilitary-oriented Eurocopter Panther, the HH/MH-65Dolphin, the Chinese-produced Harbin Z-9 and the improved EurocopterEC155. The Eurocopter AS565Panther is themilitary version of the EurocopterAS365 Dauphin medium-weight multi-purpose twin-engine helicopter. The Panther isused for a wide range of military roles, including combat assault, firesupport, anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, search and rescue, and medical evacuation . Primary users include the French Navy and Brazilian Army.
