The MiG-17PF is a high-subsonic fighter aircraft produced in the Soviet Union. The MiG-17PF ("Fresco D") incorporated a more powerful Izumrud RP-2 radar, though they were still dependent on Ground Control Interception to find and be directed to targets. Over 2,600 were built under license in Poland and China. The Chinese manufactured the MiG-17PF as the F-5A for export. The maximum speed is 1115KM/hour, the actual fighting height is 16050m, the total length of the plane is 11.68m, the wing span is 9.6m and it is equipped with a WP-5 type jet engine, the weapons devices are three 23mm cannon.
