XM177E2
As with XM177 but with longer flash /sound suppressor. This lengthened barrel was to support the attachment of the 40mm grenade launcher. Also known as the CAR-15 or "Shorty16". Major identifying features are the carry handle upper receiver, low power original colt-design telescopic sight and round foregrip.
Officially licensed by ColtĀ®...This M16 model is part of a
series of detailed, realistic, 1/3 scale, miniature Military rifles. Each includes a display stand that can hold more than one rifle; horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Each with a distinct gift box. Photographs do not do justice to the engineering and accuracy in each of these pre-built, pre-painted Colt firearms.
Part of a museum quality series "Platinum Collectibles Assembled Models".
ColtĀ®
as well as the other marks used
are registered and common law trademarks or trade dress of NEW COLT HOLDING CORP., and are used under license.
The rifle on the display stand is not an XM177E2. The display stand image is only to demonstrate the use of the display stand.
