14218 1:800 Battleship Bismarck
Bismarck was the first of two Bismarck-class battleships built for Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine. The ship was launched in February 1939. Bismarck and her sister ship Tirpitz were the largest battleships ever built by Germany.
The Bismarck had an eight-month career and conducted only one offensive operation that lasted eight days. The Bismarck was scuttled on May 27, 1941 in the North Atlantic to prevent her from being boarded by the British, and to allow the ship to be abandoned to limit further casualties.
