The Turbo-Star, the flagship of the Iveco truck series was overhauled towards the end of the Eighties. Some changes were made to the engine and the aerodynamic features of its spoiler were improved. The new Turbo-Star also has better cooling of its front wheel rims.

This truck is the No. 1 of all Italian trucks. Due to its ruggedness and its reliable engine it archieved an important position on the European truck market.
