A magnificent 24” from the tip of its main rotor blades to the tip of its tail, it’s size and unbelievable attention to the smallest detail makes this Super Sea Stallion a must have in any helicopter collection. MRC and Academy pulled out all the stops to give modelers everything imaginable: detailed cockpit of course, with finely engraved instruments on the cockpit panels; pilot’s windows, cabin and cargo doors that can be assembled open or closed; and deep inside the cabin you’ll see MRC’s exclusive “second skin” interior walls that highlight every aspect of the real machine; the ribs; the padding; the troop seats; and the firepower of two .50 caliber machine guns. This CH-53E has precise main rotor grips, lag dampers and swash plate, all flawlessly molded. The rear loading ramp can be positioned either closed, or leave it open for a magnificent interior view, and the entire tail section can be built opened or closed as well! The main rotor blades can be assembled two ways: folded for aircraft carrier on-deck storage, or extended for flight. As you’d expect, a variety of authentic decal markings and current as well as retro paint schemes are included.
