Saracens Warriors

Saracens were the Muslims settled in North Africa and the Middle East. The Islamic conquest of Egypt and Syria made possible a fleet that rivaled with Byzantium for naval control of the Mediterranean. The Saracen land troops, determined and hard fighting, comprised elements from different ethnic groups and social standing, but kept together by their Faith. The kit includes Turkoman horse archers, camel riders, heavily armored central-Asian horsemen, infantry with standards and almond-shaped shields with Koranic inscriptions.
