NINCO World Cup Finals: December 2-3, 2006
Team USA takes 12th place in NINCO World Cup in Verona, Italy.
Kurt Moser of Sellersburg, Indiana, George Bagley of Cumming, Georgia, and "NINCO" Bob Lewen of (MRC)New Jersey, had an unforgettable experience by meeting and racing the best 1/32 scale slot car drivers in the world. Sixteen teams including the USA, Italy, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, England, Portugal and Argentina fought a grueling six hour endurance race on a specially constructed NINCO race track, for the prestigious NINCO World Cup. The track, comprising two 8-lane (back-to-back) circuits, enabled 16 cars to simultaneously race in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions. NINCO World Cup USA Qualifier Race: October 29, 2006
30 of the best 1/32 scale Slot Car racers from around the USA and Canada competed to represent the USA in the NINCO World Cup Super GT competition to be held in Verona, Italy in December. The race was held on the world’s largest permanent slot car layout, (the 457-ft, six lane NINCO track), at JD Model Raceways in Lawrenceville (Atlanta), Georgia. Kurt Moser (1st place) of Sellersburg, Indiana and George Bagley (2nd place) of Cumming, Georgia, will join MRC's ’NINCO’ Bob Lewen as the three person Team USA to take on the world. NINCO World Cup USA Southwest Regional Race: October 21, 2006
MRC held the Southwest Regional Slot Car Race Mr. Model Car in Santa Monica, California. According to Chris Chan, owner of Mr. Model Car, "racing NINCO cars in this manner was fun, exciting, and we look forward to other races of this type. I'll be reconfiguring the shop for enhanced NINCO racing".
Hirobo Grand Event USA: June 23-25, 2006
The most phenomenal Hirobo Helicopter fun-fly event took place at the fantastic Toledo WEAK Signals Airfield in Temperatnce, Michigan.
