Command 2000 Control the speed, direction, momentum and starting voltage for up to 10 decoder equipped locos on one track. Here are the basics . . . using advanced microprocessor technology, MRC's Command 2000 increases the realism, control and satisfaction of model railroading like no other introduction in the past 50 years. Imagine controlling up to 10 locos on one track, traveling at different speeds and in different directions all at the same time. No insulated blocks. No complex wiring. No control switches. Here's how we do it . . . the DCC unit feeds a constant voltage to the track along with a digital control signal addressed to a decoder installed in your locomotive. Each decoder is designed to read only those signals that have been addressed to it specifically . . . allowing for independent control of locomotives on the same line.
