MRC Prodigy DCC The MRC Prodigy DCC system includes a handheld controller, a control console and a power supply (not pictured.) All you need are DCC equipped locomotives and off you go! It is compatible with other DCC systems but uses a different approach to DCC. MRC engineers created a system that is easy to use and enjoy, yet advanced enough to give most modelers all of the desired features to make their layouts come alive. The MRC Prodigy DCC system has been ingeniously engineered to let most people run trains just by following the Quick Start instructions on the handheld. Within minutes, you?ll be controlling multiple locomotives on the same track, going at different speeds in different directions. Operating multiple locos on the layout has never been easier. Our handhelds are clearly labeled and color-coded. Your can simply dial up the loco you want on your handheld and move the throttle. it is just that simple.
